Scientists are amazing people. They made the two most expensive things were made so affordable - education and healthcare. I was introduced to a few scientific minds at the robotics workshop. I was amazed to see such impressive bots to work. The stair-climbing bot, glove sensors, balancing bots were so good. They can come to so much use to society. I can picture the stair-climbing bot with a person climbing up the stairs without any other’s support. These gadgets can make people self-reliable. The best part about them is that they are not at all hard to learn as they are believed to be. In spite of my non-science background, I understood the topics pretty well.

Dyuti was a fantastic experience. It was a great opportunity to get to know the students at IITKGP, learn more about the Indian culture, and really get a feel for life at the university. I truly enjoyed watching the students build up the illumination structures, as well as seeing the final results. The IITKGP students are all incredibly hard-working and dedicated, and it was great to be able to take part in seeing the outcome.

I had a memorable experience at the robotics workshop. I was surprised by students coming up with innovative ideas on building these drones and robots. The stair-climbing drone and the glove sensors were my favourites. It was so fascinating to watch the bot climb the stairs. Along with that, I enjoyed the plane changing bot which stayed level and maintained its balance. Another bot followed a particular coloured path on its own. I am amazed by the way these things work. These made me curious about the way they worked. I was told that students developed codes and the hardware for these wonderful things. I would love to learn more about them.
